MALAYSIAN ASSOCIATION OF RISK AND INSURANCE MANAGEMENT (MARIM)  

MARIM is a non-profit trade association representing CORPORATIONS which practice Risk and Insurance Management . The association is managed by an Executive Committee elected by its members. MARIM is dedicated to promoting and rising the awareness and standards of risk management in Malaysia. Members of MARIM comprise a variety of organizations; from the multinational corporations and public utility bodies to the small and and medium industries.

19th March, 1992

Objectives of MARIM includes:

• To promote, foster, encourage and develop concepts and practice of risk and insurance management to all aspects.

• To promote education in risk and insurance management.
• To consider and discuss any rules, regulation or conditions imposed or sought to be imposed by regulatory body that have impacts on members.
• To promote special interaction amongst members.
